Machrie Moor Cask Strength is a bold and characterful single malt from the Isle of Arran, crafted to showcase the distillery’s signature freshness with an added layer of peat smoke. Bottled at cask strength, it delivers an intense and full-bodied whisky experience, ideal for those who enjoy depth, complexity and a more powerful dram.
Inspired by the rugged peatlands of Machrie Moor on Arran’s west coast, this expression balances bright citrus notes with a distinctive smoky edge. On the nose, fresh lemon and orchard fruits are complemented by gentle peat smoke, while the palate develops into layers of toasted oak, spice and soft sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of citrus, smoke and subtle vanilla.
Bottled without chill filtration or added colouring, it remains true to the natural character of the spirit, offering a more authentic and robust whisky experience.
