Because of this, our chosen shippers are Parcelforce (for orders over 2kg) and Royal Mail (under 2kg).

A little bottle with a wonderfully big personality. Downpour Scottish Dry Gin is made by North Uist Distillery in the Outer Hebrides, capturing the wild character of Scotland's western islands in every drop.

This award-winning Scottish gin is anything but ordinary. Made with an exceptionally generous helping of botanicals, Downpour delivers a bold combination of juniper, zesty citrus and warming spice, balanced by the gentle, honeyed character of wild Hebridean heather.

The heather is gathered locally on Uist, bringing a genuine sense of place to this distinctive island spirit. And there's another lovely surprise: add tonic and the clear gin turns beautifully cloudy as its natural botanical oils are released. It's a little bit of Hebridean magic in a glass.

What does Downpour Gin taste like?

On the nose: Fresh lemon, grapefruit and aromatic juniper.
On the palate: Bold juniper, lively citrus and warming spice, with hints of orange and cardamom.
The finish: Long and gently warming, with a delicate floral sweetness from Hebridean heather.

The perfect serve

Fill a glass with plenty of ice, add Downpour Scottish Dry Gin and top with a good-quality tonic. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of rosemary to complement its citrus and botanical flavours.
